Stefano read law at the University of Rome and, after a two-year traineeship within a law firm in Florence, he took the Bar Exam and qualified as an avvocato in Italy. He then worked as an in-house counsel for a major Italian pharmaceutical company for five years, and he subsequently joined the legal department of DuPont de Nemours, a multinational chemical company. At DuPont, he has advised several subsidiaries and various business units in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was initially based in Italy and then he was called at the European Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Tiziana Siciliano, born in Varese in 1955, graduated in Law and International Politics. After several years spent in the legal department of a bank, in 1985 she took the competition to enter the Magistracy, which she passed in 1986. Until 1992, she held the position of Magistrate in Bergamo, before being transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Milan, where she still works as Deputy Public Prosecutor in charge of the Labour, Health and Safety Department. She dealt with medical negligence for years, carrying out important investigations in the hospital sector. She has dealt with several investigations of great social impact such as the one on riders and suicide aid.
Stefano Simontacchi is the President of BonelliErede. He has been a member of the Board since 2010 and Managing Partner from 2013 to November 2018. He focuses on international tax law, with particular emphasis on legal opinions, Real Estate transactions, Real Estate and equity funds, Private Equity, M&A and reorganisations, Transfer Pricing, and fiscal planning.
